Healing Outreach Ministries Holds Community Service in Nansana, Celebrates Pastor’s Wedding

On a bright Sunday, Pr. May Kawaala and ministers at Healing Outreach Ministries held a heartfelt service in Nansana, filled with worship, community service, and gratitude. The congregation took time to thank God for Pastor Alex Namujurilwa, who recently tied the knot on August 31, 2024. The joyous celebration of their pastor’s wedding brought a sense of unity and happiness to the entire church community.

In addition to celebrating Pastor Alex, the church partnered with AOWFAMILIES for their monthly community outreach program. This initiative, which has become a cornerstone of the ministry’s mission, focuses on giving back to the most vulnerable members of the community. Volunteers from both Healing Outreach Ministries and AOWFAMILIES joined forces to extend a helping hand to the poor, orphans, widows, and those without homes or families.

The outreach program included distributing food, clothing, and other essential supplies to those in need. Volunteers also offered prayers, words of encouragement, and emotional support, embodying the ministry’s commitment to living out their faith through action. Pastor Alex, who was visibly moved by the dedication of the volunteers, expressed his gratitude for the continued support of the church’s mission.

“We are blessed to have a community that cares deeply about each other,” Pastor Alex said. “Today, we not only celebrated my wedding but also shared God’s love with those who need it most. I am humbled and grateful for everyone’s efforts.”

Healing Outreach Ministries and AOWFAMILIES plan to expand their efforts in the coming months, aiming to reach even more individuals and families in desperate need of support.

The event culminated in a shared lunch with the community, fostering a sense of togetherness and love. Attendees, including members of the church and the local community, enjoyed a meal together, reinforcing the ministry’s commitment to building strong community ties through service and fellowship.

As the service concluded, the congregation left with renewed spirits, knowing that their collective efforts were making a tangible difference in the lives of those less fortunate. Healing Outreach Ministries remains steadfast in its mission to serve, uplift, and bring hope to the community, one act of kindness at a time.

Healing Outreach Ministries invites all who wish to participate in future outreach events to join hands in serving and uplifting the lives of those around them.
