Founded in honour of the late Pastor Benon Kawaala, the school was established to equip men and women who yearn to serve God in truth and integrity. The institution stands on the grounds where the beloved pastor was laid to rest—now a symbolic place of spiritual renewal, growth, and empowerment.
According to HOMI Overseer, Pastor May Kawaala, the successful graduation marks a significant step in the ministry’s mission to raise disciplined, knowledgeable, and committed Christian servants. She expressed gratitude to all partners, church members, and well-wishers who continue to support the work and vision of HOMI.
“This discipleship school is transforming lives. God is doing wonders, and we are grateful to everyone who has supported us from the beginning,” Pastor May said. She encouraged those who feel called to ministry to prepare for the next intake, which opens next year. “Those ready for registration are most welcome,” she added.
The Pr. Benon Kawaala Foundation School serves as a training ground for emerging ministers, church workers, and believers seeking deeper understanding of scripture and ministry practice. It is closely linked to HOMI Church in Lubira, Busoga, Bugweri, which continues to play a vital role in nurturing communities spiritually and socially.

As the ministry looks forward to expanding its educational and community development activities, Pastor May Kawaala extended an invitation for continued support. For inquiries or assistance, she can be reached at 857-266-2747.
The successful graduation is a testament to HOMI’s commitment to carrying forward the legacy of Pastor Benon Kawaala—raising leaders, strengthening families, and uplifting communities through faith-based education.
